of Palms
House of Palms was started in 2001 by Ollie and Pam Olivier and was later passed down to their daughter, Danielle, and her husband, Mark, in 2019. Anthony came on board as a part-time employee in 2019, and in 2022 became a partner.
House of Palms specializes in sabal palmetto trees. The trees are purchased from Florida in a hurricane cut configuration, and then we plant them at our farm on Johns Island and re-foliate them. The trees are then sold to landscapers or consumers, for whom we offer professional installation services. At House of Palms, we can help you pick the size and place for your tree to complement your home or business landscape.

Meet the Owners
Mark Rogers
Owner
Mark was born and raised in Surfside Beach, just up the coast from Johns Island. Upon moving to the area, Mark worked in the hospitality industry for many years, where he met Danielle. In 2016, Mark left the hospitality industry and started to work at House of Palms full-time for Ollie (Danielle’s Dad), and then in 2019, Mark and Danielle took over House of Palms. When not working, you can find Mark hunting, fishing, watching his son play soccer, and spending time with his family (Danielle, Keegan, and their sweet pup, Cast).
Danielle Rogers
Owner
Danielle was born and raised on Johns Island. She graduated from Clemson in 2009 with a degree in Business Management and a minor in Horticulture. Danielle was always around the palm tree farm growing up and started working at House of Palms in 2010 doing retail sales and design. Then, in 2011, Danielle took over the accounting and bookkeeping side of the business. Danielle and Mark decided to purchase the palm tree farm from her parents in 2019. When Danielle isn’t working at the farm, she works for Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits as well as enjoys spending time with family (Mark, stepson Keegan, and pup Cast) as well as cooking, boating, and hanging out with friends.
Anthony DeSantis
Owner
Anthony met Mark & Danielle in 2015 and started working for House of Palms in 2019 as a part-time employee. Over the years, Anthony has become very fond of House and Palms and the products it provides, so much so that he asked Mark & Danielle if he could become a partner in the business. When Anthony isn’t working at House of Palms, he is a firefighter for the City of Charleston Fire Department, and when he isn’t fighting fires, you can find him duck hunting, paddleboarding, snowboarding, or cooking.
